With the help of Chandler High School students and the American Cancer Society Club, the project supported the charity drive of care packages for cancer patients in the Phoenix metropolitan area. We combined spreading awareness and giving back to the community, in hopes to begin real and lasting change, fundraising over 1000 items.Â
For the past two years, Cancer Climate Health has focused on spreading awareness through events and a donation drive, contributing to communities across Arizona. As our founder balanced the demands of high school and is now adjusting to college, she hopes to relocate the project to Durham, North Carolina, and gradually expand its impact by engaging and transforming the local community.
